The One Week Only theme for today is ISO 100; my cameras don't go further than 200. But since my new iPhone 12 shows me the information on the pictures I've taken I checked and found that I could see what the ISO was on each picture. I took some throwaway pictures of my front porch, experimenting and was about to post a processed version of the one that hit the 100 mark (I don't think I can set the ISO deliberately, but may find I'm wrong) when I suddenly thought to check the pictures I had taken at today's club meeting. This month was a wonderful lunch hosted by two club members, with the tables in the school house decorated beautifully. This is ISO 100 and much more interesting than a photo of untidy cans of bird seed on the porch!

Well, what do you know! I guess I was thinking of some previous camera that didn’t go lower than ISO 200. Both of my current cameras do include ISO 100. Shucks..I could have saved myself some trouble!
lovely table set up in there and the lighting is so inviting. aces! i suddenly remembered a remark my ex-beau (a belgian) made one day we went to have lunch at a fine-dining restaurant "americans love their shorts and t-shirts" as a couple of american tourists (they were americans by their accent) insisted on wanting a table despite the manager telling them about the restaurant's dress code. they threatened to sue the restaurant, and even said they would spread the word around new york how bad the restaurant was, when a burly looking (but appropriately dressed) man stood up from one of the tables and pushed aside the manager and puffed his chest at the americans and told them (in a veryobvious texas twang) that if they couldn't understand what the manager was telling them, then he was going to say it again, and don't bother spreading the news in texas as texans don't believe and don't trust the likes of them in new york. the couple left, the patrons clapped, the texan made a bow and shook hands with the manager, everything went back to normal when ex-beau espied the texan wearing 'sandals' and ex-beau said "and their sandals". but at least the texan was wearing a proper shirt and vest and pants.
so much of interest in this image, what are the people doing and saying, why aren't they allowed to sit down, a lot of place settings- where is everyone else??
