Several quendas (aka bandicoots) have made their home in my brother in law's garden. They are very fond of fruit but nectarines seem to be their favourite. Quendas are very timid little animals.

and they are marsupials - so like koalas they give birth to tiny unformed young that crawl into the pouch to drink milk while they grow 😊
