As we were driving through Caribou and into New Sweden, Maine I told Larry & my sister that before the weekend was over I wanted see some "4 legged wildlife"....a moose, a deer, or I'd even 'settle for a dead raccoon'. Well, we first saw the dead raccoon (poor thing), then the deer and amazingly these two moose. No bear this weekend but I have seen them before up in the north country. The young male moose was so curious about our car that he started walking toward us but I think his momma signaled him somehow and they quickly disappeared into the woods.
