2015-12-18 Swiss cinnamon stars

For us a Christmas cookie box without cinnamon stars is like Advent without Saint Nicholas. This Christmas classic is a must!

Some are ready to go in the box, the second batch is in the works. They dry now overnight and go in the oven tomorrow, for only a couple of minutes. They do not contain flour, so the baking takes just 5 Minutes. When done, they go in a box and wait until Christmas. (No cookies before).

Main ingredients: egg white, sugar, almonds, cinnamon, secrets extras and for the Swissness some kirsch.
