Have a glass of wine with me. Just help yourself. ;-)
Nova @novab inspired me to this photo. Because she questioned yesterdays shot. Saying that it is on thing, to flip a wine glass, but another one, to turn it back. Very wise!
BTW: No wine is harmed, spilled or lost in this shot.
This is a great shot, so well executed. Nice composition of the glasses too. I do like yesterdays, but for me this holds my interest for longer - I think because it is a very natural looking scene, but there is just one thinking slightly off and it takes a while for your brain/eye to work out its what's going on with the wine.
Its also weird though because in response to a get pushed challenge to shoot 'upside-down' theme I was playing with upturning pint glasses of water but the light & time weren't right so I went onto something else. Then I came across your images, there must be something in the ether, I'd not seen a shot like it before!
@lizhammond Hi Liz. Thanks for your comment. I think you are right, this shot intrigues a bit more. The other one was gripping because of the rainbow colours. (But honestly I think, that not everybody realised the water in the upside-down glass).Just go ahead and try it out. It is so easy. Only find a place, where there is not so much light, because of the reflection in the glasses. Have fun. Keep my fingers crossed, Vera will like it.
@mona65
Sorry. I should have read the comments with the title. I'm currently drinking a nice NZ Sauvignon Blanc in my favourite hotel in Bangkok. That's my excuse.
Another excellent execution in photography M and I'm honored that I inspired you. I'd love to join you in a glass and hope that it will be sooner than either one of us expects. :) I'll have to give this a try too. :)
Oh I forgot mention, when I show G this picture, she knew exactly how you did this, as they just went over that in school. She thought that both your photos were amazing. :) and she really like your "need directions" shot too. She says "HI".
I saw this shot first, and then had to flip to the previous shot to see what you were talking about, both are excellent, but this is my fav! Maybe I will become brave enough to give this a try!
I don't know how to tag this as a 'fav' but I would if I knew how! Very smart photo ;) and nice wit. I'm still uncertain how you drink the wine ;)
Nice composition and processing too. I do like it quite a bit. Wouldn't it be fun to have a photo book fill with interesting physics shots!? :)

Great processing
