2018-03-31 Rainbow month "indigo" --> last picture
When the Easter egg dying magic happens.
Finally, this month is over. I aged for years!!!, doing this colour stuff. At least I can finish with my favorite colour. And even if I was unsatisfied with a lot of the single pic's, I really do like, how my concept worked out in the end. And I'm happy with the result.
Here all the pictures of the whole month: https://365project.org/mona65/365/2018-03 and here in reversed order: http://365project.org/tags/mw-rainbow18
Hi Mona
I have just been looking back at your rainbow month and your amazing calendar. The thing that strikes me is how your colours for each day of the week match so beautifully.
I have a question, if you don't mind.
How did you manage to get the colours to match so well for each day of the week? Did you post-process, or was it in your setup.
I read your process about the bokeh, and this is the next one to baffle me!
Thank you, Debs
@dibzgreasley Hello Debs. Thank you so much for your comment. And of course I do not mind any questions. I learn a lot at this place, and if I can help with my experience, it is a pleasure.
Probably you missed my explanation i did for March 9th. https://distantplaces.jimdo.com/for-my-365-friends/ This will explain a lot about the colours. To achieve a matching colour every week was the most difficult thing for me. And to get a good result I really do mind the in camera settings like white balance, the colour of the object, the colour of the light and the background. If you look at the whole calendar, you probalby see, that in every picture I featured two main colours blue and gold, red and pink, turqoise and white. One one hand, this helped to give the feel of a similar colour, on the other hand it made it even more difficult. Of course there is also some postprocessing involved. I do some fine tuning in the colour settings. In these cases most of it is done in the set-up. If there are more questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
