Sunday treat: Pears poached in caramel and spices.
I red an article today, with the title "being comfy in photography" or something. Actually I though at first: oh yes, cool. As they normally talk about the complete contrary: getting out of the comfort zone, etc. But then it was about beeing appropriately dressed concerning the weather. To stay warm and so on. Well, this was not what I wanted to hear,... So I just take the title, and stay in my comfort zone; golden light, prepare/capture food and darkish background.
And just a word to my dear friend, to whom I confessed, that I try to loose a few pounds and it does not work out. Yes, I hear you laughting behind your screen, when you see this, and get your wisper,... "I'm not surprised"! LOL.
This is wonderful on black. Quite impressed with what I think is spun sugar work too. However, as someone else who is trying to lose a few pounds this is not necessarily helpful!
But you delay eating to take a photo, which increases your mindfulness, so the calories really don't count. Also this is fruit!! A glorious shot, fabulous as ever!!!
But yes, if you want to lose a few pounds, maybe food photography is not what you want to be comfortable with, maybe something more energetic?
