It's a sign

This is how I knew that the bastion entrance from yesterday once hosted an art gallery. It could well be that the sign was from somewhere else. I can't figure out where it once stood.
It also amazes me that it is a piece of glass, rather large, which seems to have escaped a crack... while on the ground (you can spot it in yesterday's photo).

@casablanca i didn't spot the shape. The bird is a diacritic. The ă is a specific Romanian letter. The sound is similar to the English /ə/ [schwa].
