On the afternoon of Christmas Day, Mum, Dad and I drove to my cousin's house at Tarragindi and had afternoon tea of Christmas Cake, Almond Crescents and coffee with cheese and biscuits. All the while it rained and drizzled around us making the yard little more than mud.
This is what was on the Christmas Cake. The lady who made it for my Aunt is a self-taught cake-maker and she has won some prizes for her work. And it tasted lovely... not overly sweet like some marzipan does.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
Yes it did taste lovely!
