Goodbye Little Vroom by mozette

Goodbye Little Vroom

Yesterday afternoon was a tough one for me. At long last, we are getting rid of my first car after 9 years of it sitting in my parents' back yard.

It's not worth much as it's got a lot of rust in the body. So, off to the wreckers it goes. Thankfully, it's got most of its parts and the engine is still all in one piece. I hope somebody uses its parts for another car.

Rest In Peace Little Vroom
Lynda, I was reading this, looked at the photo, and then thought, how odd for two people to have a car in their Parent's back yard for 9 years, and a Toyota, then it hit me. I did not realize you were Lois's Daughter. I never put the two together. I'm old, what can I say.

@digitalrn hahaha... it's okay. Mum and I took lots of photos that looked the same. She got plenty of me sitting on the bonnet (which felt like and looked like it was going to cave in from under my butt!) and then a few of me just leaning against the bonnet. The one you saw of me standing by the car with my arm on the roof in Lois'... well, I have a photo exactly the same taken on my camera. We were comparing how good our camera took the same shot.

Little Vroom was my first car; and it's been a long time coming in it's leaving my parent's back yard... she will donate her parts to another worthy cause/car and live again. Or somebody will probably 'Christine' her (bring her back from the ground up; like Arnie did the book and movie 'Christine' but without being so obsessed about her). She was a great car and I loved Little Vroom.

Lynda! What a great collage :)
I love Rick's comment - I forget that people don't know we are Mother & Daughter :)
