Today, I carved the pumpkin for Halloween. Last year, I could afford two of them - as the shops charged us at a flat rate of $20 each - but this year they charged us by the kilo! What a rip-off. So, this year, I budgeted for only one pumpkin; and made sure it was a good one - not too big, but not piddly one either.
I don't like how smelly it is when you have to clean out the centre, but I do love carving them once it's cleaned out. That's the fun part!
