On Monday evening, I received a phone call from a wine company asking if they could come and visit to show me some wines at my house. I said yes; but they were supposed to do this last month, but the guy was a no-show.
Well! The man on the phone was shocked! He apologised and looked up my file and said they'd bring along an extra-special gift for any inconveniences that afternoon may have caused me.
So, yesterday afternoon - at around 2pm - the two of the men showed up with their large metal cases of wine and the gifts. There was red wine, full bodied, dry, white dessert wine (very delicious) and very sweet dessert wine (which I wasn't really sure of.
However the best part of the afternoon - I found - was the wine they gave me as the apology. It's a German Wine which has come straight from the vineyards of Pirroth. Very nice!
Seeing I don't drink all that much, I'll be giving this to Mum and Dad; who I know will appreciate it. :D

@Weezilou it's been a little wild here too... just hasn't stopped raining for almost 2 days now... and the temperature hasn't hit 17 degrees Celsius all week! So, it's been pretty dreadful here... I'm looking forward to some sunshine soon. :)
