I was off to Craft Group today, but before I went, I had to pick up sandpaper to work on the pegs before painting them at Bunnings. This didn't take long, before I was back on the road again.
And this is what I got done today... I copied one of my original pegs, painting one gray and dotting it with pink... nice!
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@bruni Actually, if you're on Facebook, you can look up my small hobby business called Crafty Pegs... just put it into the search the look for the pic with the polka-dot painted pegs. I have all kinds of things for sale and can ship internationally... all prices are in Australian dollars and I can work a commission too. :D
There's been an unfortunate developement in the Dolly Pegs... I can't sell them. Before I painted them, they were tinted when I purchased them (not sure why, but they were) so I sanded the paint off. However, the inside of the peg was also painted and when I tried them out on a wet towel today, I found the dye they used on the peg came off onto the wet fabric - thus meaning it would stain people's clothes if I sold them as they are... so I have to find untinted pegs.
I'm not happy. :(
