I ordered a lovely lunch on Wickham Terrace on Wednesday and took this beautiful photo from where I was sitting in the shade; even though it was very humid and we knew there was a storm on the way for the afternoon and evening.
The view of that roof has a story attached to it. The Windmill and that roof are on the same land; and the roof is of the reservoirs where Brisbane's water was supposed to have been originally held to start with. However, it wasn't to be and these reservoirs were never used; instead they were left closed and unused for over 200 years and only recently had their roofs fixed up (as you can see here) for safety sakes.
I do love this photo as it turned out so well with the tree branch framing it beautifully and the mottled shade.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
