Old Things Are New Again

This is my Great-Grandma's cutlery box. Mum offered it to me for my own uses... well, I saw it and thought it would be a great peg box - you know, wooden pegs on one side, plastic ones on the other.

When I asked if I could use it, Mum said yeah. So, last night, I washed it out with sugar soap, and today, I worked on it. And I got up the first coat of Sunshine Yellow high-gloss paint.

Tomorrow, I'll be putting a few nails in the sides and adding the last coat of paint, putting some feet on it, and then.... by Thursday afternoon, my peg box will be coming home. :D
You have made it look like new, super

Well I think your Great-Grandma would approve of your idea. Use it proudly

@wendyfrost @digitalrn Thanks guys! I've been back at Mum and Dad's place to fill in the gaps where there are around the sides, sand it down a little and put on a second coat - seeing it needs 16 hours for the first coat to dry completely.

Tomorrow, I'll turn it over and paint the bottom of it and then, pick it up on Saturday morning on my way to my writing group. :D
