Yesterday I joined up with a small singing group not far from my place. It's the first time in a long time I've wanted to sing again since The Southern Cross Singers; and I've found I've missed singing in a group.
The lady in the photo is Alyssa, who has an amazing voice and is vision impaired. The woofy with her is her service dog, Ninna, a lovely little Staffie-Cross, who is just adorable.
We had fun yesterday singing a few pieces and working on how to throw our voices and support our voices while changing key too.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@brillomick It is! The great thing is that Alyssa is teaching me things I didn't know... at the Southern Cross Singers, we weren't taught to sing, with Alyssa, I am being taught to throw my voice properly without wrecking it. :D
