On Tuesday I had lunch with a wonderful friend of the family, Frank Croucher. He was a close friend of my late Uncle Allan's and was given his house in the Will. There were a lot of things left in the house to Frank that Uncle Allan had bought.
And now, Frank's cleaning out the place and downsizing, he's giving away a few things he just feels he doesn't need and asked me if I wanted a few things. One of those things was this lovely little Zen Garden. I jumped at the chance of owning one and said yes, as I thought my place would look great with it. I picked it up yesterday as I forgot to bring it home on Tuesday.
The fountain does work, but I'll get it into a better position so it's close enough to a power point for the pump to work properly... then photograph it next time.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@wendyfrost Thank you. The sand is to be raked while you do breathing exercises... Zen Gardens are designed to help people get rid of stress through meditation.
