It's A Bird....It's A Plane... No!... It's...

Purple Day!

Yes, today was Purple Day to help people remember and think about people with this medical condition I live with.

I was born with Epilepsy and have found out it's genetic in my family. It's taken years to control and stablise me to the point where I can have as close to normal life as possible... wearing purple on 26th, March each year is to help people know and remember us people who have this very invisible condition - which has been upgraded to a disease in recent years.
Super shot for your Purple day and great that you manage to live life to the full with your condition.

@wendyfrost Thank you for your lovely comment. I have spent many years on different medications which have worked on and off, and now I'm good and have a life where I can live to the full, go anywhere I please, and have the great fortune to be able to drive a car again (which is a privilege for somebody like me and not a right of passage like it is for most people).

A lot of people seem to think that when you have Epilepsy, you're not allowed to drive, live amongst others and be let out in public... this isn't always the case.
