Logan Art Gallery Excursion by mozette

Logan Art Gallery Excursion

On the weekend - today to exact - the Logan Art Gallery volunteers took off to Mount Tambourine here in Brisbane for our annual excursion.

We were taken at this time of year, in Spring, because in the past, it's been way too hot to go in November. And what a lovely time we all had!

The group shot was taken at Michael's place (he's the tall guy at the back with grey hair), where we had afternoon tea and got to meet his family, his goofy yet lovable dog - Luna - and got to see his wife's ceramics and paintings inside her studio. Their house backs onto the Mt Tambourine Botanical Gardens.
Such a nice portrait of all the volunteers.

@bruni thank you! At first, we tried out Jillian's camera (that lady next to me on the right there in the purple floral top) but her phone wouldn't let in the light. So, I volunteered my new Samsung A50 and pulled open the wide angle on it... well, this turned out better than we all thought.

I have sent Jillian a few copies of the photos for her to look at and edit for the Logan Art Gallery's newsletter. And it's a good lot of people too. And this is my 20th year at the gallery.
