This year my birthday buddy and I did things a little differently! I was house sitting at my brother's house, and she lives over that side of town.
So, I messaged her and suggested we swapped face to face... unfortunately she's working today, but her son was home. And I gave him her parcel and I received mine from him.

@susiemc oh I am. It's so lovely to have a person like this in my life. We were lined up on bokkcrossing.com and it was supposed to be only for one year, but she enjoyed my parcel so much she asked if we could do it privately every year... I wanted to as well, and after 10 years, here we are.
