The stealth bomber is perhaps one of the most interesting aircraft that has ever flown. Iconic in its achievement - evading radar - but also a stunning departure from 'normal' aircraft design. You are looking under a stealth bomber. The hull looks curved which is in fact a result of the fisheye lens. The matt black colour is a special non-reflective paint which aids the radar evasion.
The more important part of what you see is the engine which has been dropped out of the bomber. It is a jet engine. Sometimes we forget how intricate these engines are. Just look at all the pipework and wiring. An amazing achievement. Mans engineering feats are truely marvelous.
