Normally I feel quite disappointed and despondent when I get home from a photography day out because my photos generally don't turn out how I planned or expected them too. However, I was really pleased with this photo because it turned out exactly how I wanted it to. I wanted the single point focus on just one small part of the flower, a shallow depth of field and the three flower heads in a diagonal line across the photo. If I could fav myself I would on this one, lol!

@susiemc You're very kind Sue but 90% of the time I take a photo expecting it to turn out a particular way and then get very disappointed when it doesn't live up to my expectations. I compare my poor efforts to the wonderful and beautiful photos that people put on here and mine are very second rate in comparison. But, hey ho, I'm still learning and hopefully one day I'll get it right more often. At least I'm having fun (most of the time) practising!
