Musick Point Radio Station

The pic on the left is the back of the building and I'm not sure if it's intentional but it looks like a ship. The front of the building is on the right (this is the building that can be seen in my "Creepy" pic posted for 31 July). A plaque on the front says, "...this site has an important place in New Zealand's engineering heritage. It spans more than 50 years of New Zealand's early radio communications history from 1941, and was associated with the aviator pioneer Edwin C Musick and the opening up of Pacific air routes. It had special importance during World War II for allied forces in the Pacific campaign, and provided radio communications with the Coastwatchers Unit. For 40 years most of Auckland's aviation and maritime radio communications were routed through this site.ā€
Great capture
