Our local lake has a number of maimai (hides) on it that are used by locals during duck hunting season. The hill with the trees on top is the same one (from a different) angle that can be seen in my photo posted for 27 August: https://365project.org/nickspicsnz/365/2021-08-27 The lake empties through the wetlands. The hill is the edge of a stone quarry.
