You know that feeling when you're taking a shot and you are being watched?.........
Our friend, the farmer had to go to market to buy a bull (as you do!) and asked if we would check the stock around the fields for him on Saturday morning. So armed with a hand drawn map and a list of what should be where we set off.
This field had 38 cows in it, or did it.....they were moving! The field is on a slope and there is no one place in the field from where you can see the whole field, it took us ages to be sure there were 38....or was it 37......or 39???
yes we got there in the end!! We told little Dottie the easiest way to do it was to count the legs and divide by four....she was getting very cross with us!
I'm not counting! Did they all get very close to you? I find cows quite intimidating, they get really close but then back away in a line as you walk towards them! (loved your other photograph of the 'rude cow')
Love the photo -they are posing or wondering what strange contraption was attached to that strangers face & love the story and really love the challenge to Little Dottie that made me laugh!
