I grew up on the NHL... this season has been a total bust with the lock-out, but at least i've gotten to see my kids play ;p A face-off from my older boy's game tonight... for the weekly theme... and because it's either this or another mist shot from yesterday, and i'm too tired to give those the attention they deserve :)

Great shot!! Yeah the NHL made me mad this year too... last time though back in the '04/'05 season I was playing hockey in college and we had a huge spike in attendance because the NHL was locked out... so hopefully your kids see the same boost in attendance!!

I was once into the whole hockey scene...and went to a lot of NHL games, but I have lost interest over the last few years. This lockout business just confirms that I don't need it.

Love the shot northy. I too grew up on the NHL and my prays were answered years ago when the Rangers finally won a Stanley Cup. I loved playing too. But I was so fed up with the lock out I was like good riddence really is such a rinky dink league compared to the NFL or NBA. Anyway great to see kids enjoy it without all the business BS!
