This is from earlier this week, but (a) i had no time for photography today, (b) altho' this is from Monday, today's subway ride was more of the same and (c) i liked her hat ;p
For flash-o-red February...
Thank you so much on the lovely comments and favs on my recent photos... two seemed to have found their way to PP much to my surprise :)
@carolinedreams ahhh... but this is my strategy, you see... they have all sorts of opportunity to object, to turn their backs, to walk away... but mostly they ignore me... or they don't see me and can i help it if people are hugely unobservant?
Fantastic capture. Interesting that they are all facing much the same way. Like a lift - everyone walks in and turns to face the doors - ever tried just walking in and facing forward ? Of course this is best tried with a reasonably full lift.
This is a great scene and because of the woman's hat and the other woman's coat with the fur lining along with it being B&W, it reminds me of a scene you might see back in the 60's.
I am never the person who runs to be the last person on the train for this exact reason! I wait until the next train but thank goodness I leave early and usually don't encounter the 5pm crush!
Great capture - and yes, hiding in plain sight is the best! :)
Poor you. I get very claustrophobic in situations like this. And how do you manage to get a shot at all let alone one as fab as this! Great crowd scene xx
Great capture - and yes, hiding in plain sight is the best! :)
This brings back lovely memories of the London tube. ;)
