i'm thinking this one...

i'm allowed to submit up to 5 shots for the photo competition being run by the local transit commission, and i think this will be one of them...

this was processed from RAW in LR5 with just a few touch ups in PSE... no filters or other silliness in colour efex...

thank you so much for the nice comments on my two shots from yesterday... really tempted to send in the knee shot "just because" ;D

at this point, i'm pretty much out of time... contest ends tomorrow or thursday (need to check), but i'm frantically trying to get things sorted for vacation (both at work and at home) and have little time to lurk on the subway... and regardless, i really don't take direction well and am having the worst time trying to take a shot that's appropriate for the contest, and that i like!

This is a great shot, love all the yellow. And catching the the train just as it is coming out of the tunnel works really well for me.

I loved yesterday's knee shot, if you can enter 5 then I'd include it too. It's very creative.

This is attractive - clean - inviting - bright - and doesn't look crowded, dirty, or smelly, - perfect for the contest - lacking your "trademark" grit and realism but I doubt if either would attract passengers in quite the way they would want - It's a cool shot and so is "The Knee" but that is more you!
