processed in LR and using topaz restyle "ice princess" preset (altho' i played with the sliders lots)...

for all you LR pros out there, any advice on how to get rid of the halo effect around the snowflakes? or am i just kinda stuck with them?

Not sure about where you find the presets? I have LR5, but I don't play enough to explore. Wish I could help. Now you have me wondering about presets....hmmmmm. Nice shot, though! :)

Great imagery. I suspect you are stuck with the halo effect. I'm only just starting to see and test how much I can do in Lightroom and what stuff I really have to do in Photoshop. Looks like a big swag of my time will still be spent in Photoshop, for my fairly processed pictures.

@darylo tx :) topaz restyle, like nik silver fx, is a plug in... you have to purchase it separately, and you can access it from LR or photoshop...

here is a link to the topaz website... you can download their stuff for a month of free trial... they have a number of different tools in addition to the restyle presets...
