I know just what you mean.The woods and forests are such places of beauty and magic.So difficult to even begin to capture.You did a fabulous job with the pov and processing! Fav! I am finding I love using the lensbaby in the woods.The blur and distortion translates at least to the feeling I get in the woods!
perhaps I should capture it with you in it ;-) or should it be the other wsy around? yeah, get a small squirrel to chase and you're in business! i'd need to get some malaria shots first! this is awesome shot! you made me look closely to find you. we must bring the ironing board there one day. :-)
I've had quite a bit of difficulty trying to get the perfect shot in my forest up north. Found the best way - wide angle - always aiming up. And, of course, the right light helps as well! ;)
@kass hmmmmm - the light may be part of it... Although this spot is pretty much buried in trees... I thought the light I had yesterday - late afternoon and overcast - was going to be as good as I could get... I might try going back earliesh tomorrow morning... Can't go crack
Sigh... Wasn't finished... Spurned iPhone... Can't go crack of dawn cause I've got to get a kid organized for camp... But yes... I've generally done better when I start w the light rather than the subject... Tx! @kass
@kass
I’ve always had trouble geting what I see in the woods ‘onto film’.
Thanks @kass for giving me something to try out…!
