for the etsooi challenge - in the kitchen...

this started with two separate images... the fridge (with an empty shelf) and the penguin... the ice blocks and lens flares were added in photoshop... as were the shadows...

i followed the extrusion instructions below to get the ice blocks (proving once again that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing)...

the flares i figured out on my own after a stupid amount of trial and error (why they only work in 8 bit is beyond me)... there were various levels adjustments, some black and white stuff happening, a hue adjustment layer (i think i've almost got that figured out now)... some blur, and even some dodging...

it is now almost midnight and i'm done... catch ya'all later!
