to Hamilton today for an early morning work-related thing... got there ultra early (wasn't quite sure where i was going and couldn't afford to be late) and had a wonder about... it's on the waterfront and there's a marina, some greenspace and some water with lovely wooden posts... a place to contemplate getting to in low light... or, y'know... with an ND filter...
@clarek tx CK... the main thing with many of my shots is that i will often compose more for the light, than the main subject... the sun was quite low in the sky, and i picked my spot so that it was just peaking out from behind the structure... then processed for the high contrast black and white :)
