i was there again today but didn't have the will nor the inclination to whip out my camera. it's probably because i was eating chocolate - cadbury fruit and nut. yum!
ah, your photo. this was taken later. the supine guy, he's on the sidewalk, n'est-ce pas? that blurry image of the car indicates how fast it was and the result would've been so bloody but the way you processed made it look like it flew over him. i like it!
@rockinrobyn hmmm... i wasn't "trying" to in this particular case... i was exposing for the darker areas and he was lying in the sun, so his bit came up waaaay over exposed... the toner added in silver efex processing kind of accentuated it, i guess...
There's always a momentum in your street shots, it seems. And here such a contrast between the still and motion with that stark lighting contrast, I think. Works well. Always interesting stuff from you!
Fabulous, love the combo of the two cool guys, both very cool in different ways. The guy with the flowers could be the grown up version of the one lying on the the street.
I love the car blur, there is much going on in this composition. The car, the guy with the flowers and the guy lying down. This is definitely a favourite of mine. Great capture and find. FAV
