From bee-hind my lens

I went outside to get an updated picture of my rhododendrons to compare to a previous shot I posted on June 10th, but the bees distracted me.

I caught this busy bee flying away from me, because if he was flying towards me, I'd be running the other way.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful thoughts, kind words and Fav's on my bee shot. I was very excited to see it on the PP page this morning.

Andy, I guess I got lucky as this was day one of my bee experiment. The shoot location is only steps from my front door, so I made many trips to see who was around my flowers. Also I took over 200 shots. Good luck trying to capture a couple bees, as they move so fast and change directions just a quickly.
