Frosted

I took this shot of my car's frosty windshield just before I scrapped it. It is not as clear as I had hoped, so I'll try it again, again, again...... until I'm happy. I used my macro lens and cropped this shot a bit.

Lovely shapes. I only have an achromat macro. I don't think it's as flexible as a lens. Perhaps that's something i might look into in the future.

Nice shot Nova.Try closing your aperture further say f/22 or f/29 to get more in focus You will probably have to support camera with tripd for the slow shutter speed or increase your ISO to give you a faster shutter speed.

@peterlgrave Thanks for the suggestions Peter, I appreciate them and will try again on my next frosty morning. I did not use my tripod this time, as I needed to get going, but next time I'll be better prepared. :)

THIS is why I'd like to be there on a winter's day! I love the frost patterns, and I'm sure I'd photograph farrrr toooooo many of them!!! Absolutely gorgeous...I'd make a set of greeting cards!
