The Bluenose II was sold to the government of Nova Scotia for $1 in 1971 by the Oland family of Halifax and represents Nova Scotia as a sailing goodwill ambassador. Her home port is Lunenburg, NS.
Thanks so much for all your kind words & favs and propelling my shot to the PP & TP. Its fun to see my images show-up there every now and again. It took a while to get this picture, as I had to wait for many tourist to move out of my view, then I had to wait for my silly family and friends to stop photo bombing me. :)
@mona65 Thanks M, we stayed at the pier (no sailing) and that was perfectly fine with me. I tired to convince my family to stick around until sunset, but they were not willing to wait. Maybe next time.
Beautifully the many blue in contrast to the warm wood brown, illuminated and made alive by the sunlight. Very impressive perspective. The camera you've probably laid on the floor, at least kept very far down. This increases the special. Amazing photo!
@jerome Thanks for your kind words Jerome. I put the camera on the roof of the stern house (if that is what that part of the boat is called). I took really like the results from the low pov. :)
