they looked so real, don't they? i could've shot a pic of an artificial flower arrangement found in dollar stores, but i really couldn't bear to look at those things. great shot for the theme, ann. i like it.
@twinsplusone Thanks Sharon- yes very colorful! @digitalrn Thanks Rick! My granddaughter likes to play with them but she knows not to eat them. @bruni Thanks Bruni! Fortunately they are out of reach for most children so we haven't had a problem with that- so far! @httpgeffed Thanks Colleen- went with something simple this time- just Orton. @kimmistephens Thanks Kimmi! Yes- they look good in the picture! @summerfield My first choice was some of the fake flowers I have scattered around but one bouquet I shot was too blurry and the other was too dusty! And I was too lazy to redo or dust, so I went with plan B. lol Thanks Vikki!
@karenann lol Thanks Karenann! @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian! @sangwann Thanks Dione! @nicolecampbell Thanks NIcole! Yes, fresh is ALWAYS better! @peterdegraaff Thanks Peter! I thought so too- but the stem of the red apple is a good clue- it doesn't look natural. @steeler Thanks Howard! @prttblues lol Bev- I suppose you could dip them in chocolate...
A very nice photo! I love this. I think this would be printed and on my wall if this were mine. The saturation and composition are fantastic! Great job with the processing!
@cimes1 Thank you Carole! @sharritta Thank you Sharon!
I never really know what I will end up with when I start fiddling with the processing and effects. I had to do an arrow shot and ended up sort of reversing the idea when I made the arrow the effect instead of the subject. So glad you both liked it so much! And Sharon, I'd be glad to send you the jpg if you really want it!
@cimes1@sharritta haha- just realized I talked about the wrong picture!! Oh well- not paying attention again! Yes, this one was pretty simple- the Orton effect to soften the edges of the wooden fruit, that's all.
@kerristephens Thank you Kerri!
@melorac Thank you Carole!
@jeancarl Thank you JeanCarl!
@woot Thank you Davide! Orton effect in Picmonkey and mirror frame from Picnik.
@alia_801 Thanks Alia!
