Same September 6

Today's challenge was to pick a symbol which will be photographed for the next four Thursdays in September. Sadly brick walls are not considered a symbol because that's what my creativity hit when it came to this word! Have you ever had one of those days when you go to shoot and each picture has a "been there, done that" feeling to it. That's how I felt. In the end, and running out of time, I grabbed the sour cream container out of the refrigerator and shot the recycling symbol. B O R I N G !!!! Oh well, I'm stuck with it now.

And yes I have had those days - or all week as I am kind of a captive prisoner right now......interesting to see where the symbol will be next week. Or you could also just look for triangles.

@maggiemae Thanks Maggie- you are being kind! I took it to mean a sign, an emblem, a logo, something like that. Some folks have done the peace sign, so I didn't want to do that one. I was going to do arrows, but forgot to photograph one when I was out this morning, but even that seemed sadly unoriginal. I thought of the cross, but I have done that before for this word in a different challenge and I didn't want do it again. And so on and so on! Well, it is what it is! Thanks for the encouragement!

@cdonohoue Thank you Cathy! I am thankful I haven't done the food shopping yet because I might find some interesting ones at the supermarket. As for the shape that's tomorrow! And I'm sort of bouncing around on that one too! However, it's true- recycling is good and I'm all for it, so I guess this shall be my "cause" this month! Thanks for the encouraging words!

You could try for something we don't normally think about recycling. A champagne bottle? I think you've hit on a workable symbol

Most of the containers have this symbol with a number on.. I also see the symbol on platic containers quite a bit. the symbol together with the bar code and writing actually make a great picture when you think of it
