Ann- is your computer a day ahead? When I posted-- it showed the 26th-- now it shows the 27th.. strange indeed-- And I am in Coatesville, PA-- so this will be my first experience of a Hurricane this far north..lol back home, the store shelves would be almost empty..lol
@tklein I think what you're seeing is the time difference between UK and USA- they are 6-7 hrs ahead of us, so the date probably changes when theirs does, not ours. I'm not sure where Coatsville is- it sounds familiar like I should know. Are you Eastern PA or Western? Well, that's silly, you must be on the Eastern side if Sandy's coming your way!! The last one we experienced was Irene. We lost power for a few days, but it wasn't nearly as windy and rainy as I thought it would be. We had people saying it was going to reach gusts of 50mph. But I don't think it really did. However, we did have a lot of downed trees. The place that really got hit hard was Vermont! So there's really no telling what it will do! As long as you have enough staples, a few jugs of water, good batteries in the flash lights and some nice candles you should weather the storm just fine! Oh- and don't be surprised- by Monday eve, those shelves will definitely be empty! @tanja_1211 thank you Tanja!

This was the perfect shot for the challenge. @peterdegraaff Thanks Peter! We have a couple jungle gyms here that are very modern/futuristic in design and I always kept it in the back of my mind to photograph something through the holes. So this worked out well.
Haha! I got a couple of rolls of film back today, and there's something remarkably similar on one of them. I'll tag you when I post it - think you might be amused.
