Thank you Kerri, Lisa, Jo, Siw, Diane, Jackie, Henri and Colleen! This was a fun one to play with. I promise to tag you all tomorrow and let you know what it is.
My wife never had a job but don't tell her she doesn't work. and I agree. With the things she does at home she amazes me and the house is always so nice and clean. Cool abstract shot.
So, drum roll please... yes, it's a vacuum cleaner hose! And the two bars at the top are the clasp that holds the cord and plug in place. I'm not quite sure how they disappeared and the clasp remained but there are several b/w processing steps piled on top of one another that probably eliminated them somehow. It all started when I put the original shot in "sketch" mode and then inverted it.

Thank you Huda, Bev, Tanja, Alia, Dione, Carole, Laura, Rick, Smitha, and Nicole!
It's always surprising to me what a little processing can do to the mundane things in life!
