Something I Chose to Photograph Today

I was drawn to the layers of texture in this composition. Come summer that trellis will be covered with Clematis. Until then, it makes a nice abstract of lines and shapes, so it became "something I chose to photograph today".
I like the intersecting curved and straight lines. I'll bet it's beautiful covered with Clematis!

Thank you Diane! Yes, it's quite lovely. Took some of those shots last year, but I don't remember if I posted them here or not.

@fullcircle Cindy- if you'd like to see the flower, check out the link I posted above. It is the one that will eventually grow here taken in 2011.

the link doesn't worl Ann.. but I fancied it's a clematis.. I don't know why..
I love the textures.. and the colors of weathered material..

@inertie I honestly don't know how to do that link thing- I see Ace people do it all the time, and I've never figured out how to post it. I'll have to pay more attention to the next person who does it and ask them how they did it! But if you do want to see it- you can scroll through my second album on the calendar view until you get to July 2011 and then click on the shot for the 16th and that will be it.

Looks wonderful now...did you add a texture to it or did it come like this? I love the feel (and love it covered with clematis too!)
April 7th, 2013
Very nice, I like the illusion the cut off wood makes. :-)
April 7th, 2013
@filsie65 thanks Phil- it was slightly textured in the original so I bumped it up with the Advanced HDR effect in iPiccy.
@vposey thanks Vickie!
