No scones, clotted cream, strawberry jam or tea from Devonshire in the house today )o: But I do have this lovely tea cup that my grandmother Hamilton gave me (o: So I'm posting that with apologies to all my friends in the UK. I hope you had a scone or two for me!
Just 4 June word: Cream Tea (yum yum indeed!)
Joy in June: My favorite tea is a chocolate strawberry tea I discovered a while ago, but I can't drink it at night any more- too much caffine! However, a cup in the morning still brings a smile of joy!
If you had a grandmother Hamilton, we might be relatives! I'm a Hamilton (as well as a Munro) and half the settlers went to Canada and the other half to NZ! It is a beautiful piece of china!
A quick thank you to all tonight- I must get to bed! But I will come back to look at your pictures tomorrow. Can't wait to see them!!
@maggiemae Maggie- if you can trace your Hamiltons back to Edinburgh, Hamilton or Glasgow Scotland, we may be distant relatives! Wouldn't that be neat!!??
@henrir Thank you Henri! @anazad511 Thank you Ana! @prttblues Thank you Bev! Was looking for something a little less traditional and I liked this one. @nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! They are sweet little treasures.
