Faithful Friend

The storm is expected to start around 6 AM on Saturday. I'm so glad I decided to bring an extra load of wood in today! And I'm also glad I had this fellow to help me get it from the pile to the house!
good that you'll be able to stay warm... nice editing!

December 14th, 2013
Hope it will pass without any incidence. Great capture.
December 14th, 2013
I really like how you have processed this, a very strong shot (bit like the barrow, eh?).
December 14th, 2013
This was poignant to me and I totally understand the sentiment. I had just had my tire fall apart and hauled wood in my arms for a week before I could get a replacement. Love the difference having a wheelbarrow makes.
December 14th, 2013
Stay warm!!
December 14th, 2013
Beautiful shot. Hope you keep safe and warm.

A cozy fire must be nice in these bitter cold days. just returned from the Eaton's Centre. there was a lot of snow in Toronto and the driving was murder. at time km an hour where the speed limit is 110 km.

Thanks all! The weatherman predicted this storm would bring us 3 to 5 inches of snow. We're up to about 9 inches now!

@twr Thank you Timothy!
@digitalrn Thanks Rick! It pretty much started and stopped when they said it would. What they got wrong was how much it was going to drop.
@jackie8 Thanks Jackie! I like the BeFunky site. They have some really nice artistic effects. We were fine- plenty of wood for the woodstove, and plenty of food in the frig!
December 16th, 2013
Great.

@la_photographic Thank you Laura!

Such a unique wheelbarrow shot. I have a few of my own and I love seeing them in others' images. :) The turquoise color is so neat. Could be a nice tribute to William Carlos Williams. (So much depend upon a wheel barrow...)
