Christine is locked up in the laundry room up on the roof everyday with the washing and ironing. Drying is the easiest as she hangs them out to dry by themselves.
I got a new machine yesterday. Just a simple one, not with all those buttons. But it won't make hot water and the manual says that hot is not good for my clothes. I am going to check on this as hot or cold should be MY choice, don't you think?
Mmmmm, .......I'm going to go out on a limb and say, laundry?! This is a terrific composition and you have managed to make it look interesting all week!
@homeschoolmom Thank you Lisa! When my boys were home, I had them doing their own, but hubby was not raised by a mom who required her children to take care of their own so I inherited it. However, he would do it if I asked him. @skstein Thank you Sandy! @365projectlinda Thank you Doris, oops, I mean Lindy! @yaorenliu Thank you Yao- I hope you had some time for photography in between washing loads. @dibzgreasley Thanks Debs! I'm doing it throughout the week- but small loads. With Jeff being in construction, there's always work clothes to do! @sangwann Thank you Dione! I have some things I hang to dry and others I put in the dryer. I can't hang things outside though- too many birdies flying overhead! @francoise Thanks Francoise! I guess I learned that from all the times I watched Mary Poppins... just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down... @stownsend Thanks Suzie! My washer has 3 settings- hot/hot, warm/cold, and cold/cold so I'm surprised your washer doesn't have a hot setting. Yes, it should be your choice, but unfortunately government thinks they must regulate everything- even the way the washer/dryer manufacturers produce their products! @janewinfrey Thanks Jane- hehe! @timewalker Thanks Pam! @grammyn Thanks Katy! You are very smart! @susale Thanks Suze! @pyrrhula Oh yes, Ferry, you have revealed the truth! I was- although I do not like coffee! Thank you for your comment and for the smile (o: @ceilidh Thank you Margaret! @daisymiller Thanks Daisy!
Thank you everyone! It's been a long day- we went to see Katie in another musical today. I will be back tomorrow to catch up on your photos. Have a good night everyone (or morning depending on where you live on this planet!).
Nice pic ...This makes laundry look lovely! This reminds me that I have some clothes in the washer that need to go in the dryer now ...so thanks for the reminder!
love your laundry shots. I do all my washing on Saturdays but as there is only 2 of us now its not a big deal. I love to hang my washing in the sun it always smells so lovely when its dry
