September NF 18

Rain, rain, go away,
Come again some other day!

The barometric pressure from Hurricane Florence has given me a head ache today and I've got photo club tonight so I'm posting a bit early for me and taking a nap with some peppermint in the diffuser. See you tomorrow!
The rain left some interesting patterns. No rain here and no after effects whatsoever from Hurricane Florence. we just saw a News flash about the 44 ft dam breaking in North Carolina bc of the amount of flood water.

I do hope things calm down for you and the head clears. Interesting rain patterns here.

Great patterns. We did have the driest and warmest summer ever. Farmerst are not so pleased with it. Great shot and textures.

Pretty rain patterns. It seems it is either feast or famine when it comes to rain. Hopefully, it will clear up in your area soon.

Well spotted. Love the patterns and textures; We could do with some of your rain.

I always get a headache during thunder storms, must be something to do with the pressure too. Hope you feel better soon.

Great patterns Ann!

Sorry to hear about the head-ache, hadn't thought of barometric pressure causing that kind of thing, but will certainly keep in mind now I know. I hope you didn't get any damage from Florence, sounds like it hit very hard in some parts.

Lovely rain shot and patterns. I am looking forward for some rain here. I forgot when it rained last but rain is in the forecast for the next two days.

An interesting choice of subject and composition.

Sorry to hear about your headache hope it was fixed in time for photo club

Lovely textures. I hope you feel better tomorrow.

Fun to see all the faces and animals in the patterns.

Terrific rain capture and patterns

@bruni Thanks Bruni- no damage here either.
@helenhall Thanks Helen- yup all better now!
@pyrrhula Thanks Ferry! The farmers here are not too happy with our ultra wet summer either. Crops do not grow well, nor can the Fall ones be planted when the ground is as soggy as a sponge.
@henrir Thanks Henri!
@onewing Thanks Babs! I sure do wish I could share some of our excess with those who need it. I wonder if someone will invent a way to do that in the future?
@radiogirl Thank you Kathy!
@golftragic Thanks Marnie! No damage at all from Florence- just lots of rain.
@bkbinthecity Thanks Brian!
@milaniet Thank you Milanie!
@sangwann Thanks Dione!
@mittens Thanks Marilyn!
@grammyn Thanks Katy! The peppermint oil clears it up in about 15 minutes- love that stuff! It was a great meeting too!
@naomi Thank you Naomi! The essential oils are great and work so well. Peppermint oil has cleared up some of my worst headaches in 15-20 minutes as opposed to the hours it used to take with medication and without all the side-effects. Love them!!
@taffy Thanks Taffy! Wow- hadn't noticed that until you pointed it out- cool!
@wendyfrost Thanks Wendy!

Like the mix of wet and dry, rough and smooth textures here. Hope all is well with the hurricane--I've heard of several folks getting headaches...

Will have to try peppermint oil. ;)

@sandrajo Thank you Sandi! We just had rain- no other activity. The oil can be diffused or you can apply a very small amount directly to the temple area making sure to avoid the eyes- which helps as well.

I like it.
