A Cross on a Tombstone

Filling in my 2021 project- no need to comment!

We went to a fascinating old town in Delaware for lunch and wandered around an old cemetery with tombstones predating the American Revolution. We even found one with the surname LeFevre!
How interesting, lovely grungy look about this old tombstone.

Beautiful textures in this one. How unusual to find one with your name which is not all that common I would think.

@ludwigsdiana @kjarn @grammyn @allie912

Thank you Diana, Kathy, Katy and Allie!

@grammyn It's actually quite common in France. It means smith!

@olivetreeann LOL! Common where you live?

@grammyn Not really- but there is a well-known baseball (I think) player from the past who actually spells it in the original French- LeFebvre. Even without the B people still mispronounce it.
