My sister's youngest grandson Michael came round after school yesterday dressed in his Northamptonshire District Cricket strip ready for practice at the Northants cricket ground. He plays for their under 11s team. He is an all round sportsman and is good at cricket and rugby and also excels at golf. In a recent school golf match with boys and girls of all ages right up to upper 6th Michael came first. Barbara is so proud of him as you can imagine!!
I was asking him questions about his cricket and the strip he was wearing and asked if he would like me to take his photo. He actually agreed!! So unusual for any of my family to pose!! I was so pleased I thought I would share one of the shots.
Now I have uploaded I can see a shadow behind him. I am not used to using flash - I bounced it off the ceiling so perhaps this caused the shadow?
Great capture, Pam, sounds like a very talented young guy. Not sure about the shadow either. It seems if it were from the flash bounced off the ceiling the shadow would be lower than he is and this looks about straight on. well done though.
@stevej I turned the main light on in the room Steve and then had to move as it was reflected in the mirror. I think it's a shadow from that light. The room seemed quite dark so I thought I needed a bit of extras light. I need more practice with my flash!!
