Just for your information really. This is the view from my upstairs window - this is part of a pano I took with my Iphone this morning. Yesterday's harvest shot was a closeup of the combine harvester and tractor in the field using my 100-400mm lens.
I thought it was strange that although they have harvested the fields there are no hay bales. Not being a country girl I am a bit confused as I thought there was always bales left after the harvesting of the seed.
Lovely view, out to the harvest fields. The machine that combines the corn (Seed) does not bale the straw as well. They will do that with a tractor and baler. If the weather is good they will leave the straw to dry a little before baling it, Sometimes when the weather is catchy they bale it straight after the combine.
