Running Threads

Last night visited the Halifax Industrial Museum under going refurbishment not open to the public, with the camera club,
this is part of an Jacquard power loom circa 1830 that uses a punch card operating system to make the patterns in the weave
it was so poorly lit had to set my camera on a tripod with exposure 30 seconds ISO 160 at f32 just to get the detail required.

This makes a great image. You have done a great job of getting the colours and the impression of movement here.

@suesouthwood Thanks Sue, It was a little challenging was trying to get as much detail as possible, I only took two shots both turned out quite well under the circumstances:)

Wow, on first sight i was totally flummoxed.. only the narrative brought the slightest recognition.. it's an amazing image. love the close looking PoV and the colours.. love how the scene at the rear of the threads shows up so well.. a well crafted image..
