Second Hand Time by pcoulson

Second Hand Time

My entry in the current macro challenge motion
the second hand ticking through time on our small dinning room clock. (just notice my camera has recorded the correct time and the clock is one minute slow) OMG.
That's fabulous - love the shadows, really looks like time passing.

@casablanca Thank you for finding the time to comment its appreciated, I'm afraid there are no shadows, the hour hand is still and sharp, the minute hand has a small amount of movement hence less sharp the three grey lines are the second ticking through the two second exposure:)

@pcoulson Ah, that makes sense then! I have never taken a photo of something that moved and had it show up in more than one place like that - very clever!

@quietpurplehaze Thanks Hazel I was looking for something static for clear macro focusing that had movement passing through the shallow focus point it was all I could think of at the TIME, lol:)

You will have to check out the speaking clock to get the correct time. Do they still have the speaking clock in the UK? At the third stroke it will be .......
